First Experiment:

My original photograph was clearly under-exposed and it looked too dark. Therefore, the first thing I changed was the exposure so the audience can see more detail within the photo. I changed the exposure up by about +2 because when I went any higher, the light areas would be too over-exposed. Also, after I had sorted out the exposure, I thought the image might look better in black and white rather than in colour. This photograph does give the audience a 3-Dimensional (3D) effect as the audience is drawn to the background as the 'use of line' makes the audience look beyond the foreground.  Furthermore, in my opinion I think this photograph is techniquical interesting as the foregroud is in focus and the background is out of focus, which creates depth of field. Also, after my photoshop experiment I think it has made the photograph more visually interesting as before the photograph looked plain and simple.

Second Experiment:

Within this experiment, I was trying to make my original photograph look more technically interesting. I did originally wanted to make the top-half of the photo black and white, so I used the 'quick selection' tool to select the area I wanted to change. The next stage was I choose to use ' maximum black' effect under the 'black and white presets'. However, I did not think this idea looked good. So when I moved the effect downwards I saw that by making the middle section of the photograph black and white I thought this does look good.  This photography is probably more visuallin interesting rather than techniquical eye grabbing as it is a simple landscape picture. Neverless the way the row of trees is pretty much in the centre of the photo makes the picture appealing to the audiences' eyes.
