It is said that he just wanted his 'fifteen minutes of fame', but some people do believe in the 2012 conspiracies, could they be true? | ![]() |
![]() | On the 14th of June 2010 the Independent News reported that the end of the world will not occur from natural disaster's. It reports that the end is near, and it could happen in 2012 from a meteor hitting the earth. A meteor is said to hit the earth every century and the last major one was back in 1908, where it luckily hit the earth in a such a location that it wasn't a threat to the extinction of human's, animals, and all the other species. It is hard to tell if this meteor does hit, where it would hit. It could cause global earthquakes and huge tidal waves putting earth's very existence in jeopardy. This is not related to the theories surrounding 2012 so much but it does show that 2012 whether it be big or small will have some significance to the world as we know it. |
Here is a short documentary that I was able to find on youtube about the 2012 conspiracy. It is based in the United States, so gives us a different view. This documentary takes us through America where some people who believe that the end of the world may come are starting to prepared. Some people are making underground bunker's where they can stay safe and out of harms way. There are also suggestions that the US government know a little bit about what could happen in 2012. There are suggestions that the government has a few of their own underground bunker's as well where (when the time comes) they were keep the most important people whereas regular people like you and me are 'sacrificed'. |
![]() | The mayan calendar seems to suggest the beginning of a new era as oppose to the end of the world. 'If you heard the world is ending in two years' time, don't worry' this is a message that an elder mayan man (Mr. Pixtun) reportedly has given public on a news article. All of the 2012 hype starts with the Mayan calendar and now that the film '2012' has (during the time) just been released this Mayan elder has been bombarded with questions about the end of the world. He says he has had enough of it. Mr. Pixtun even states that the end of the world comes from western ideas as oppose to the original Mayan's. |
