![]() | The backstory that Drosnin gives to the Bible code throughout his three books is that it was written by aliens/exrtra-terrestrial life that also brought human DNA to the earth. His second books claims the aliens also left the key to the code in a steel capsule. He searches for the capsule, which he strongly believes is located near the dead sea. Many scientists have criticised Drosnin's work and shown the flaws in his technique of breaking the code (including his mistranslations of Hebrew). A good resource for information due to the fact that the book gathers so much hype and popularity upon release regardless of errors or critical acclaim and still to this day is regarded as one of the first books to bring the subject into the public. |

Author Michael Drosnin believes that there are secret, coded messages in the Bible that indicate that Al Qaeda has nuclear weapons in a secret hiding place. Click here for the full article
Cracking the Bible Code Jeffrey Satinover, M.D. Santinover shows the Jewish perspective of the bible code debate rather than a scientific or hypothetical view of the subject. Contrary to the title, Santinover doesn't actually 'crack' the Bible code but instead explains the story and backstory of different forms and cases of the code and it's process of being discovered. This book makes good reading due to the perspective of it's author, he is a man of science and Jewish faith yet his book blindly follows it's information without trying to question or calculate accurateness. Nonetheless it reflects a strong variant of the Bible code theory with a stronger basis than The Bible Code by Michael Drosnin. | ![]() |
Torah Code 2012 As the Bible code has such a strong and prominent Jewish background I wanted to find a documentary which had a Jewish perspective on the subject (following on from Santinover's book). Torah Code 2012 follows a number of people with the Jewish faith putting their passion, careers and reputations together in order to work out the Torah Code. |
They thoroughly seem to believe that there is a Bible code during the clip shown to the above. I think this is relevant for research due to the personal emotions evoked from each person in the documentary considering the faith they hold dear has a deeper meaning and cause for society, making the documentary a participatory piece, all members having a journey within their own faith, yet heavily involved in science.
Who Wrote the Bible Code? Randall Ingermanson PH.D Ingermanson poses the questions of whether the Bible Code is accurate or if it even exists by putting it through extremely complex scientientific and mathematic tests which he claims leave no room for error. He sets out with no conclusion in mind, setting himself rules on how to go about finding the answers and how to use them. He doesn't discourage the idea of a code within the Bible, but accepts that it might be a hoax, the only way of identifying what the Bible code theory could be is by 'rigorous and careful' experiments. This book has been selected by me because Ingermanson doesn't set out to discredit, but gather raw information via only scientific means in order to find a code and verify it. His website explains the process within the book further - http://www.ingermanson.com/codes/art/intro.php |
