Films:

What about Bob? is a film made back in 1991 about a psychiatrist (Dreyfuss) who goes on a summer holiday leaving his compulsively obsessive patient, Bob (Murray) alone for the next few weeks. A nice holiday with the family is what he thought until his patient tracks him down and slowly drives him mad.

This film shows us the affect that OCD can have. In one particular scene when Bob is having dinner and getting served with salad he asks for the tomato to be removed from the salad. Most people would just keep the tomato on and just not eat it if they don't like it, but here we see that Bob is very particular in what he eats, and he doesn't even like to have the tomato on his plate, clearly symptoms of OCD: obsessiveness.

We also see how someone like Bob here is very obsessive and how that can drive the people around him crazy. In this instance, he is only around his psychiatrist for a few days, and after that his psychiatrist has already had enough. Patience is needed to deal with someone that suffers from OCD or any disorder and this film clearly illustrates that.
